Cuppa has posted or will post a blog about the Butchart (BOO-shart) Gardens, but we have a bunch more photos that I’d like to share. While it’s tempting to sometimes think, Gardens Sharmins, this is a most wonderful, world class site that is definitely worth the price of admission (which ain’t cheap btw). Although I’ve only included one photo of them (the first below), let me tell you that the delphiniums were spectacular. It was a pleasure to see them in their more natural habitat; they grow really well in this climate but not so well in our hot summers of southern Ontario.

Gorgeous. My favorite flower picture: Cuppa in her hat :0)
Wonderful photos of flowers at the Butchart Gardens. I am hoping to be in Victoria BC in early September and look forward to visiting these gardens. I have also taken the liberty of including your photos in my Soup du Jour today.

I had it figured that the Gardens would be on your tour schedule. I haven’t been in years, and by that I mean YEARS – Expo 86 I belive it was.
Good to see that you’re touring right along!

Wow, stunning flowers. You got gorgeous weather for seeing it. Flowers really look at their peak.
All flowers were great but I especially liked the blue ones that looked like they were in a column. ec
